Senior Financial Analyst

Department: Oncor Electric Delivery
Location: Dallas, TX

Location: Dallas, TX – Hybrid

Job Type: Full-Time

Target Salary Range*: $70,000 - $110,000.

*This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary

Position Overview:

The Financial Analyst will support the Technology Investment Manager in all aspects of investment management for the Technology organization, including accruals management, internal financial reporting & projections, financial analysis, preparation of the annual O&M plan and adherence to accounting guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop appropriate accruals during the monthly financial closing process.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and variance analysis to communicate financial results to the Technology leadership team.
  • Develop monthly projections and identify budget pressures as well as opportunities for cost reductions.
  • Participate in monthly financial reviews with the Technology leadership team.
  • Assist in developing the annual O&M Plan.
  • Work with other team members as needed to process Technology invoices in the Accounts Payable platforms.
  • Confirm and abide by all procedures, policies and regulatory guidance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Improve current execution by deploying continuous performance testing processes across multiple projects.
  • Work closely with infrastructure teams to upgrade and integrate performance testing tools with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers/owners to identify ongoing performance testing improvements and enable use of a solid framework for executing performance scripts.
  • Continuously review and monitor the performance test suite to identify opportunities to improve system reliability and scalability.


Preferred Qualifications

  • A college degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a high-profile environment.
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills

Work Environment

  • The person filling this position will work in a hybrid manner, with three days per week in the office and two days at home. The specific days in the office at Woodall Rodgers or other office locations may vary each week according to business needs.
  • The office will provide necessary computer equipment, such as a laptop computer, extra monitor for home use, mouse, keyboard and docking station. The contractor will need to pick up this equipment at the Woodall Rodgers location and transport this equipment back to the Woodall Rodgers work location when the assignment ends.
  • The contractor will need to have reliable internet service at home and cell phone service.
  • Training for job responsibilities will be done in person at office locations or remotely through WebEx video and phone calls, depending on specific needs.
